Logan Portillo

Logan’s drive for dogs started early with having dogs all around growing up. His aunt bred American Bulldogs, and he always wanted a role working with dogs in some way. Born in Mexico and raised in small Tucson Arizona (Hablo Español), Logan took an internship with a veterinarian clinic to gain hands-on experience with hundreds of dogs.

Logan spent three years doing boundary training with dogs and studying animal behavior. He advanced to leading a team of technicians, and helped train over 800 dogs. He found a love for obedience training along the way and started practicing what he learned with friends and family for several years. When he decided to follow his passion for obedience training, he learned that Sit Happens stands for living beyond the leash. Always wanting to be with the best, Sit Happens was his first and only choice!
