5 years experience

Kendra has spent more than five years working professionally with dogs and their owners, and it shows in her energetic, passionate approach. As Client Care Coordinator, she’s often the first friendly voice families hear when they call Sit Happens, and when she starts explaining what your dog is thinking, you can’t help but get caught up in her enthusiasm.

Who is Kendra Roop?

Kendra’s love for training began in dog care facilities, where she became captivated by how dogs learn and interact. She would watch their every move, then dive into research to understand what each behavior and expression meant.

That curiosity led her to a board and train company, where she got her first real taste of training methods and learned how different breeds have their own unique traits. But Kendra realized that even the best training programs were missing a crucial piece: the dog owner.

She has now been with Sit Happens for three years, bringing her private training experience to dog owners across the Tampa area. Today, she splits her time between training and the office, where she talks with families about their dogs, answers questions, and books consultations. Because she’s worked hands-on with so many dogs, she can help each family understand what’s going on with their pup and find the right path forward from the very first conversation.

When she’s not with her dog, you might find Kendra exploring local food spots or watching her favorite sci-fi and anime shows.
